What aeration does
Raising dissolved oxygen and mixing the water helps aerobic bacteria break down organic material. That works on the water column, not only on repeated chemical treatments.
A display fountain can move water and stay visible. AquaAir Ultra sends air to diffusers on the pond floor, so the pond mixes with nothing showing on the surface. Volcano III is the floating surface aerator when you want a low, heavy boil. Some ponds need a mix of both.

Bottom muck
Oxygen at the bottom helps bacteria break down organic material that would otherwise build up.
Odor and insects
Water that sits still and stays low in oxygen smells and draws mosquitoes. Aeration is the first step.
Fish and bacteria
Fish and beneficial bacteria need oxygen from the surface to the bottom.
AquaAir Ultra
Bottom-mounted diffused aeration for ponds and lakes that need mixing through the full water column. A stainless enclosure on shore holds one to four compressors (⅓ HP piston through 1 HP rotary vane). Weighted Super Sink tubing runs to one to twelve anti-fouling membrane diffusers on the pond floor. Systems range from ⅓ to 2 HP. Compressors carry a 3-year warranty; the stainless enclosure has a limited lifetime warranty.
Solar AquaAir Ultra
The same AquaAir Ultra diffuser system, powered by polycrystalline solar panels with a battery bank for 24-hour run time. A 24-volt piston compressor feeds 9-inch membrane diffusers through Super Sink tubing. Built for ponds without usable grid power. We will tell you when solar fits the load and when it does not.
Volcano III
AquaMaster’s floating surface aerator. It produces a low, erupting boil rather than a tall decorative spray. Listed sizes include 1.5, 3.5, and 5.5 HP. Needs at least 3 feet of water. Night Glow LED or RGBW lighting can be added on the float. Hydromax models produce a heavier cone-shaped flow.
Kasco aeration
We are an Authorized Kasco Distributor. Kasco aeration includes shore-based diffused systems and floating surface aerators. We size the system to the pond.
RobustAire Diffused Aeration
A compressor on shore sends air through self-weighted lines to a diffuser on the pond floor, mixing from the bottom up. Small cabinets cover 1–3 diffusers, medium 4–6, and large 7–12. A no-cabinet option is listed for 1–3 diffusers. An optional remote manifold can put the compressor up to a mile from the water.
Home Series Diffused Aeration
Kasco backyard diffused system: stainless cabinet, ¼ HP compressor, and one or two single-loop diffusers (DA1 or DA2). Listed for ponds smaller than 2 acres and up to 20 feet deep.
Surface Aerators
Floating units that throw a low, heavy boil instead of a decorative spray. Current sizes are ½, ¾, 1, 2, 3, and 5 HP.
